The City of Vancouver bylaws MUST be followed and it is important to understand these bylaws before entering into any property agreement. Are short-term rentals legal in BC?

Short-term rentals are allowed in B.C. - depending on where you’re located. Certain towns in BC have tighter restrictions than others - here in Vancouver it is allowed, although you must abide by the bylaws set out by the city

Do I need a business license for Airbnb in BC?

Is it profitable to own an Airbnb?

It’s profitable to own the right Airbnb unit. Many units reside in unfavourable buildings with drawbacks that will affect the resale value. An Airbnb in a favourable building is one of the most sought-after investments in the real estate market. There are only a handful of buildings that allow for STRs - supply is usually low and the demand is high.

How do I buy an existing Airbnb?
