Fairview got its name after its superb views of the Waterfront and the North Shore mountains. As one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Vancouver, it’s home to some of the most popular historical buildings and modern attractions such as Granville Island, Gallery Row and the city’s largest hospital.
As one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Vancouver, Fairview has heritage buildings all around - Hodson Manor, The Seaforth Armoury, James England House, Fairview House, Dick Building, Stanley Theatre and Chalmers United Church are just some of them.
However, Fairview is not only about history. By living in Fairview Slopes, you also get the waterfront area for leisure and recreation, high ranking public and private schools, and excellent dining opportunities. The area is very easy to access through both public transit and other means of transport, so you can get anywhere in Vancouver within minutes.
I’m always excited to buy and sell in Vancouver, but when someone comes to me to buy or sell in Fairview, it really sparks the fire in me. Fairview is my home, and I know what a fantastic place it is, so I’m anxious to show that to other people willing to participate on the market, regardless if it’s as a buyer or a seller.
I’ve been listing and buying with clients in one of North America’s most complicated real estate markets for 13 years. During this period, I’ve earned hundreds of positive reviews from people whose lives I’ve helped improve.
Moreover, when you work with me as a selling or buying agent, you’re also getting the expertise of one of the top Vancouver agencies - Oakwyn Realty. Just in 2019, they’ve had over $3 million in transactions, making them one of the biggest agencies on the market.
I represent people from all backgrounds, and I’m so happy when they choose to live in my home neighbourhood. And who is better qualified to help you find your home than someone who is actually living in the same neighbourhood? I know every corner of Fairview and the people that work in it, and I will use all my contacts to find a property that ticks all your marks.
Whether you want to buy a residential or an investment property, I’m happy to work with you. First-time buyers, downsizers, investors, and other selling agents from Vancouver, everyone will get my full range of services when working with me, regardless of their budget or their financial background.
I’ve been a Vancouver real estate agent for more than 13 years, a time where I’ve grown to understand how the main market drivers work. This experience has given me the tools and skills to be able to design a unique selling strategy that works every time.
The fact that I’m a native Vancouverite of over 36 years just adds to the level of expertise and professionalism I offer. I know the market, the people, the streets of Vancouver, and especially my home, Fairview. If you want to sell a property, I probably know which one it is and what its main selling points are. I will use them, the current market statistics and all my connections to sell your property quickly and effortlessly.
Vancouver’s neighbourhoods change quickly, so you need someone who is on top of all those changes. By working with me, a professional real estate agent that focuses on Vancouver exclusively, you’ll be putting yourself at an advantage. I’m the proudest when I serve my neighbours (current or future) and share a piece of this amazing city with them!

Fairview grew up with Vancouver. Close to downtown, the neighbourhood grew with the implementation of the city’s first electric trains in the 1890s. It’s named after its excellent views of the Waterfront and the North Shore mountains, which are easily visible in the neighbourhood. Granville Island is one of the city’s biggest tourist attractions, and the neighbourhood is home to Gallery Row, as well as the city’s largest hospital and many medical support businesses.
I’m Ron Parpara, and Fairview is my home. While I’m excited by Vancouver and the Lower Mainland as a whole, I’m extra passionate about my own neighbourhood. It’s a fantastic place to live, no matter what point you’re at in your life. It’s got waterfront, with access to the seawall for recreation, plenty of schools both public and private, and excellent shopping and dining opportunities. Public transit, including the Canada Line Rapid Transit, connect the neighbourhood to the whole city, including Vancouver International Airport (YVR). In terms of quality of life, Fairview’s a great place to live.
Whether buying or selling a residential, commercial, or investment property in Fairview, my experience as one of Vancouver’s top real estate agents helps my clients by smoothing out any rough edges in the transaction.
