Neatly tucked on eastern the edges of the iconic Stanley Park, within the commonly known West End suburbs is the affluent Stanley Park Neighborhood. Many people do get confused, and it is normal to also conflate it with West End. But here is the deal, Stanley Park Neighborhood specifically refers to the area between Denman Street and the Stanley Park boundary proper.
However, you can be forgiven for referring the whole of West End as “neighbourhoods of Stanley Park”, due to the proximity to the green space in the sprawling Vancouver city.
The area has got great homes, high rise apartments, and is famed for providing an exotic experience. If you are moving to Vancouver and have a family, or you are just a couple, Stanley Park Neighborhood is ideal for you. If you do not fancy high rises, there is an option for detached homes with big spaces and gardens. The neighbourhood is the gateway to Stanley Park and English Bay which makes it a favourite amongst nature lovers, out-going people and sight-seers.
There is a diversity of the population, with Canadians, international students, and immigrants of various ages who all call this place their home. This mix is also evident in the languages spoken in the neighbourhood – English, French, Germany – amongst many others.
Though it is high density, Stanley Park Neighborhood is one of the quietest neighbourhoods, in downtown Vancouver. This makes its properties one of the pricey, especially the condominium properties which face the park.
The whole of the area is at a walkable distance to the downtown business area, bringing all amenities within a short-range. If you cannot hit the pavement, there is a reliable bus service along Denman and other major roads. If you love your food, Denman Street is the place where you can find anything to satiate your culinary appetite. Davie Street is also a vibrant place to be if you are a creature of the night.
Wrapped around by the ocean, Stanley Park is one of the largest green spaces in the North American cities. It has an extensive trail network, swimming pool, water parks, aquarium and clean beaches. The park is circled by a seawall stretching over 10km where you can bike, jog or just walk around.
Davie Village, situated between Burrard and Jervis, along Davie Street is the epicentre of gay pride in Vancouver. The Vancouver Gay Pride parade takes place here. This is an ideal place for members of the LGBT community and has been lauded for enhancing the West End cultural integrity.
This might sound easy for you to do alone, considering how popular the place is, but selling a property goes beyond just haphazardly advertising online and hope the internet works its magic. You need a professional Stanley Park Neighborhood Realtor.
